Sickle stone, also called a scythe stone, or abrasive stone is a great tool for beginners. It is an economical substitute for grinding. This abrasive stone allows you to remove sharp edges from glass created from scoring and breaking. Always keep the stone wet when in use to eliminate glass particles from the air.
