Hi-Fire Shelf Primer will withstand high kiln temperatures because of its special formulation of alumina and low-fluxing clays. It's great for those high fire projects such as raking or casting. It will also leave the back of your projects smooth. Hi-Fire Shelf Primer also works well for coating bead mandrels. Directions for use: Use one part kiln wash to 5 parts water.
